The Woman's Medical College of the New York Infirmary
Faculty members of the Woman's Medical College of the New York Infirmary in 1868–1869 are listed on this sheet. Among the professors are Dr. Elizabeth Blackwell, the first woman to receive a medical degree in the United States and a pioneer in the movement to train women doctors. She served as professor of hygiene. Her sister Emily Blackwell, also a doctor, taught obstetrics and diseases of women at the medical college.
