Statue of Paul Revere
This modern photograph depicts the statue of Paul Revere located in Boston, within sight of the Old North Church. After signals had been sent from the church steeple indicating British troop movements in 1775, Revere made a famous ride from Boston to Concord, Massachusetts, to warn the colonial militia of the approaching British Army. This statue was made by sculptor Cyrus E. Dalin in 1899, and dedicated in 1940.
